Kiln Dried Logs Somerset (Dumpy Bag)

Logs are approximately 25cm long and kiln dried to under 20% moisture content.

Advantages of Kiln Dried Logs

• Burn for longer at higher temperatures compared to seasoned logs.
• Higher calorific value than seasoned or unseasoned logs.
• 10 Kiln Dried logs will produce the same heat output as 33 unseasoned logs.
• Much easier to light, so less kindling required.
• Hardly any ashes produced.
• Reduces chimney deposits as less moisture content means reduced tar and soot.
• Keeps the glass on the stove much cleaner.
• Logs are cleaner and easier to handle.
